OnSign TV Player needs to access a few domains in order to get its content.
It's paramount that you do not configure the whitelist to be IP based. Some content is hosted on Google Cloud Storage, which does not have published a list of IPs they use to operate their service. Read more about proxying Google Cloud Storage here.
OnSign TV needs the following domains and ports:
- HTTPS traffic (port 443) to app.onsign.tv, api.onsign.tv, signagewidgets.net and storage.googleapis.com.
- HTTP traffic (port 80) to signagewidgets.net.
Please, mind that we perform certificate validation on our secure connections. So, if you are proxying HTTPS traffic you need to install the root certificate of the proxy on your devices before starting OnSign TV Player.
