In case you get an error while installing OnSign TV, search for missing libraries within the error message and use sudo apt-get install <library_name> to install what is missing.

Before sending your Player to the field, here are some additional settings we recommend for a reliable and smooth operation:

Make sure there the screen lock and screen saver are disabled

Linux is great and extremely stable, but this is only true if you have it configured the right way. To ensure performance and stability you must make sure you your video drivers configured matching your video card.
Letting Linux fallback to the default video driver most often will result in random crashes, so pay attention to it!
